Wishing

Wish
verb
gerund or present participle: wishing
  1. feel or express a strong desire or hope for something that is not easily attainable; want something that cannot or probably will not happen.

I wish that he would look at me the same

I wish that he would kiss me the way he used to

I wish that he would hold me tight

I wish that he would wipe my tears away

I wish that he never had walked away

I wish that I was enough for him

But I’m not.

And he won’t.

I have to let go.
